Reporting to DRG is more acurate with CIS

Reporting of patient data from hospitals to Danish health authorities via the DRG-system (Diagnose Related Groups) is often rather inaccurate, concludes the National Audit Office of Denmark. According to the medical journal Ugeskrift for Læger, inaccuracy is no longer the case at Rigshospitalet’s intensive care unit due to the implementation of Critical Information System by Daintel, where all patient data registration now is done bedside and forward-looking in accordance with the DRG-system.
